Review removal service for reviews that break the rules
Our review removal service reports reviews that break a platform’s published rules, like spam, fake accounts, conflicts of interest or posts meant for another business, through that platform’s own process. We never promise a removal, because only the platform decides, and honest negative reviews get a good reply, not a takedown request.
What a review removal service can and can’t do
Google, Yelp, Facebook, Trustpilot and other platforms publish content rules for reviews. A review that breaks them, such as spam, a review from a competitor or former employee, hateful language or a post about a different business, can be reported and taken down by the platform. We gather the evidence, file the report in the right place and follow it through any appeal the platform allows.
A genuine bad review is different. If a real customer describes a real experience, the platform will keep it, and trying to suppress it with threats or pressure is banned under the FTC’s consumer review rule in the US. UK law now bans fake and misleading reviews too. Honest reviews get a calm, specific reply, and the problem behind them goes to your team.
Signs a review may break the rules
- It describes a visit that never happened
- Several one-star posts arrived at once with no detail
- A competitor or former employee wrote it
- It contains hate speech, threats or personal details
- It was clearly meant for a different business

Extortion and review attacks

How review removal requests are decided
What platforms remove, what they keep, and how we choose which reviews to report.
What the platforms remove
Each platform words its rules differently, but the common grounds are similar: spam and fake accounts, conflicts of interest such as reviews from owners, competitors or employees, off-topic posts, offensive or hateful content, and personal information. Google says it usually evaluates a report within several days and shows the status in its Reviews Management Tool. Yelp, Facebook and Trustpilot have their own report options and moderators.
Why we don’t report honest reviews
Google asks businesses not to report a review just because they disagree with it. So before anything is filed, a person reads each review against the policy and the facts you can show. If a review is negative but genuine, we say so, draft a reply and pass the underlying issue to your team. Future customers read those replies, and a good one often does more for you than a removal would.
No fake reviews, no review gating
Removing reviews that break the rules is only half of a healthy profile, and the other half has rules too. We never write fake reviews, buy them or ask only happy customers, a practice known as review gating that Google’s policies forbid and the FTC has warned can be deceptive. Conflicted five-star reviews get reported as well. Where your rating needs to recover, honest reviews from every customer tell the real story.

Questions about our review removal service, answered
Can you promise a review will be removed?
No, and no honest review removal service can. The platform decides. We report only reviews that break its published rules, with evidence, and tell you plainly when a review is unlikely to come down.
Can you remove a negative review that is true?
No. Platforms keep genuine reviews, even harsh ones, and pressuring a customer to delete one can break consumer protection law. We help you reply well and fix the cause, which future customers notice.
Which reviews can be reported?
Reviews that break the platform’s content rules: spam and fake accounts, conflicts of interest, off-topic posts, offensive or hateful language, personal information and reviews meant for another business. Each platform words its policy differently, so we check the exact rule first.
How long does review removal take?
Google says it usually evaluates a report within several days, and you can check the status in the Reviews Management Tool. If a report is rejected, Google allows a one-time appeal. Other platforms set their own timelines.
What if someone threatens bad reviews unless we pay?
That is extortion, and Google has a separate way to report it. Don’t pay and don’t reply in anger. We document the threat, report it through the platform and help you decide whether to involve the police or a lawyer.
